VIJAYAWADA - ANDHRA PRADESH
Vijayawada is known as the Business capital of the Andhra Pradesh State. It is located on the banks of Krishna river. Vuyuru town is about 25 Kms from Vijayawada city, which is the second populous city in Andhra Pradesh. It is known for several temples and a sugar factory that operates since 1941. Missionaries of Canadian Baptist Mission founded a hospital here in 1906.
Kiran with his wife started a church at Vuyuru, as a result of personal evangelism in that region. His passion is to equip believers to be effective witness for the gospel in their own contexts. Kiran is a good teacher with a great pastoral heart. Kiran is entrepreneurial in many ways and tries his best to support the ministries. Kiran is blessed with 3 children who are active in several ministries.
In the Vuyuru Church about 40 families gather to worship. The local believers are taking active leadership and are engaged in serving the community in various ways such as free tuition, hospital visits, youth counseling and children ministry.Kiran also initiated a worship center in Vijayawada town, at his father’s place. The need for counselling and guidance has led to this ministry. Many families are blessed through the ministry of prayer and the Word of God.
Gospel outreach to a village named Ameenapuram near Vuyuru has led to the birth of a new congregation with many first generation converts. The church here is a transformational agent that caught the attention of the villagers who offered a piece of land as a donation to expand the Christian services in this village.
